At an increasing numbers of our airports, all passengers checking-in for flights, including those with hold baggage, will use the self-check-in kiosks rather than the traditional check-in desks.
The check-in process:
The simple, quick, and secure process is as follows:
easyJet representatives will be on hand to give assistance where required - but early results indicate that most passengers find the whole process very simple and self-explanatory, and do not need help.
Identifying your booking - what to bring to the airport
When you arrive at the kiosk, you will be asked to identify your booking. To do this, you will need to bring one of the following (in addition to your valid form of ID - e.g. a passport):
Using the credit card to access the booking is the quickest method, as this can be inserted into the kiosk (in a similar way as an A.T.M.), and the machine reads the card number for you.
Travelling in a group?
If you are travelling in a party under one booking, you don't have to wait for everyone to arrive before you check-in. You can check-in separately if you prefer; the kiosk will simply keep the booking open in the system, and will only display the names of the outstanding passengers when re-accessed.
If you do all check-in together, however, the process is even quicker, as you can select "all passengers" rather than specifying individual names!
How to attach bag tags
If you have hold baggage, you need to attach the bag tags issued by the kiosk before dropping off your luggage at the bag drop point.
It's very simple, and clear instructions are printed on the tags themselves as illustrated below:
